Sustainability starts at home

Shaping sustainable thinking and actions starts from the core, deep within our organisation, on every level. How we commute to work, the paper on which we only print things that need printing, the sports support that we provide to our colleagues to keep them fit, and the gifts that we give during the holiday season. In all these instances we always make a choice in favour of sustainability.

We always study the impact of each project on our living environment. Starting from a broad perspective, we then zoom in on sustainable applications, solutions, and developments. That are as specific, visible and measurable as possible. Obviously we rely on the specialist knowledge of our engineers and consultants for this. This diversity and the access to expertise immediately provides added value. From internal strength and motives to sustainable achievements in any field.

VOKA Corporate Social Responsibility Charter

In 2017, we stepped up our game in terms of future-oriented business. Antea Group signed the VOKA Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Charter of the Flemish Employers’ Federation. This initiative offers companies the opportunity to implement sustainable entrepreneurship with an action plan that is based on the 17 sustainable development goals for 2030 (SDGs). These SDGs can serve as a critical reflection framework for future-oriented business strategies and business models. To date, we have achieved the objectives that we set ourselves every year thanks to the effort that we make as a team. Don’t underestimate the dedication of our customers either, however. Our commitment

Under the VOKA CSR Charter every signatory undertakes to:

Proactively incorporate sustainable entrepreneurship in its company policy;
Formulate objectives and specific actions that tie in with the SDGs;
Report on the achieved results to the evaluation committee;
Communicate externally about which actions were taken;
Continually work on compliance with social, welfare and environmental legislation.
