Only 2.5% of the Earth's water is freshwater, and most of it is not readily available. For decades, we have been studying waterways, modeling groundwater bodies, developing stormwater management plans, and designing green-blue infrastructure. In addition to combating water overflows, we are increasingly confronted with the threat of water shortages in recent years. Therefore, our teams work daily on projects that improve water quality and optimize water management. This includes contributions to projects aligned with the Flemish Blue Deal. Moreover, with our water stewardship services, we help companies implement sustainable water usage and reduce vulnerabilities in their processes.

Bij Antea Group ondersteunen we bedrijven en overheden om energie-efficiëntie te verbeteren en de CO2-uitstoot te verminderen. Ook onze eigen kantoren zijn energiezuinig gerenoveerd, met een duidelijke focus op een lagere CO2-voetafdruk. Zo begeleiden we steden, gemeenten en bedrijven naar warmtezoneringsplannen en warmtenetten, zoals in Sint-Niklaas of bij Stora Enso en Volvo Cars Gent.

The energy transition requires smart solutions, and we are working hard to deliver them. At Antea Group, we assist companies and governments in improving energy efficiency and reducing CO2 emissions. Our offices have also been energy-efficiently renovated, with a clear focus on lowering our carbon footprint. We guide cities, municipalities, and companies in developing thermal zoning plans and district heating networks, such as in Sint-Niklaas and for Stora Enso and Volvo Cars Gent.

Together with our clients, we are building sustainable, future-proof infrastructure with innovation at its core. Through our Digital Competence Center (DCC), we prioritize customer-oriented innovations that enhance efficiency and sustainability. We automate reports for faster and error-free delivery, develop digital twins for better project integration, and accelerate processes by coding and automating with tools like Python and Power BI. Additionally, we use AI to provide proactive, data-driven advice, for instance, in regulatory compliance, helping our clients tackle today's and tomorrow's challenges optimally.

We work every day toward a healthy, safe, and green living environment. Livability is central, whether in urban or rural areas. Traffic livability, environmental quality, and climate resilience play an increasingly vital role in sustainably managing demographic developments.

How do we put this into practice? We support governments and companies with services such as mobility studies, strategic policy plans, green infrastructure design, and climate adaptation projects. In Dilbeek, for example, we contributed to a tree policy and management plan. Furthermore, we provide forward-thinking solutions that consider social, ecological, and economic challenges, building resilient and attractive communities.

The fight against climate change is more urgent than ever. Climate action is a key focus in everything we do. We consciously choose projects that not only help mitigate climate change through CO2 reduction and energy policies but also promote climate adaptation. This means assisting our clients in better preparing for the consequences of climate change that are already being felt today.

We help organizations develop CO2 reduction plans, energy policies, and climate adaptation strategies. Internally, we strongly promote green mobility and sustainable renovations of our buildings. With a fully electric fleet and the CO2 performance ladder, we monitor our progress toward climate neutrality.

Protecting our ecosystems is essential. At Antea Group, we are committed to preserving, restoring, and sustainably managing life on land. This includes nature-inclusive construction, biodiversity restoration, and environmental projects that truly make a difference. Through projects such as nature-inclusive designs, green corridors, and biodiversity restoration, we actively contribute to a healthier environment. We supported the city of Maasmechelen in its ambition to become a true "lobbenstad" with a focus on rewilding, high-quality densification, and space for the leisure economy. The "Nature Smart Cities" concept applied in Bruges is just one of many examples of how we prioritize nature in our designs.

Collaboration forms the basis for sustainable growth and impact. At Antea Group, we build strategic partnerships that strengthen our expertise and help us become a reference point within our five transition domains. By working with innovative players such as start-ups, spin-offs, and other leading actors, we develop solutions that address today's and tomorrow's challenges.

Our collaboration goes beyond projects alone. Through our market approach, we identify and embed structural partnerships via a central cooperation hub. This approach enables us to realize at least ten leading projects annually. Additionally, we support initiatives like S+T+ARTS to connect creativity and innovation. Through initiatives such as our "High5" knowledge sessions, we bring together public and private partners to share knowledge and develop innovative solutions.
