Circularity

Circularity

Today’s linear economy, whereby we reduce raw materials to waste, is no longer tenable. The time has come to invest in circularity or the reuse of raw materials, in addition to maximum value retention and minimum value destruction. At Antea Group we find that applying sustainable, integrated solutions in our living environment is the natural way forward. That is why we are working to achieve the transition to a circular economy.

Circular asset management

In circular asset management, the emphasis is on total value of ownership. We do everything we can to make the most of an asset at an acceptable cost.

Circular design

When creating a circular design, we weigh the various solutions against each other, formulating requirements that always start from the principles of circular economy, while developing an inventory of circular opportunities at project locations.

Circular tendering

Circular tendering involves training organisations as well as assessing tenders and projects and formulating selection and tender criteria.

Circular demolition

Circular demolition involves so much more than just reusing raw materials. We make a building inventory, examine options for removing the various materials that can be reused, and advise customers about the options for re-use.

VANG

VANG (Van Afval Naar Grondstof/From waste to raw material): by striving for a rate of minimum 75% for separate waste collection, we are able to recycle more material and reuse waste. In the circular economy we jointly strive to reuse raw materials.

Circular water use

Circular water use is one of the starting points of the new water policy for Flanders, in the fight against drought and water scarcity. A water audit maps the vulnerability of business processes, facilitating the development of measures to increase water efficiency, among others through the reuse of water, by closing the water cycle at company level, or by making smart use of residual flows at the landscape level.
