In a world where the outlines of tomorrow are constantly being redrawn, we commit ourselves daily to standing out within our industry. Although 2024 promises to be another year of change, we also see it as a time to celebrate and to look to the future with hope. Five decades of dedication, innovation, and partnership have brought us to where we are today – a moment to cherish, reflect on, and celebrate.

Looking ahead 50 years

On June 18, 2024, we celebrate a milestone that fills us with pride: the 50th anniversary of Antea Group Belgium. Our journey so far has been a story of resilience, growth, and continuous evolution. As we reach this milestone, we look to the future with confidence. We remain committed to innovation, sustainability, and providing solutions that benefit society and the environment. Our mission for 2024 is clear: we want to actively contribute to shaping the world of tomorrow.

We strongly believe that our purpose goes beyond delivering services; when we guide our clients toward relevant solutions in an ever-changing world, we always aim to strike a balance between economic growth and ecological responsibility. Our focus stays on making a positive impact in everything we do.

With confidence and commitment, we support projects that create space to guide our clients toward a more sustainable, healthier, and inclusive living environment — with a pragmatic view ahead and both feet on the ground. We not only advise organizations but also help them move forward with powerful, tailor-made solutions and action plans. In doing so, both they and we respond to the ambitious goals set by Europe and Flanders.

We stand at the dawn of a new year full of challenges and opportunities. We don’t want to let those changes just happen to us, but actively help shape them.

The 2024 agenda

  2. Temporary PFAS Trade Framework: In spring 2024, all (existing) site reports or permits must comply with the new PFAS regulations, or they will expire. Those with ongoing construction projects should stay well informed to avoid delays and issues. Read more
  3. New EU Renewable Energy Directives: The European Commission has raised its renewable energy target to 40% by 2030. Starting in July, all EU member states must implement this increase. Read more
  4. Flemish Green Deals 2024: The Flemish Government has launched a series of Green Deals to promote sustainability in areas such as water, mobility, circular economy, and more.
