At Antea Group, we are always looking for ways to transform urban mobility and infrastructure. The 'Molenweg Tongeren' project illustrates the evolution of existing situations into a promising future, in which cycle lanes and bicycle tunnels not only provide safety and efficiency, but also contribute to overall urban livability.

Successful collaboration through technology

In close collaboration between our different teams and with our partners, we set out to optimise Molenweg, a crucial route in Tongeren. Our approach included detailed 3D modelling and close collaboration through the Autodesk Construction Cloud platform. This allowed us to accurately capture the current landscape and develop a conceptual design that seamlessly met the needs of the community.

We used Building Information Modelling (BIM), a working methodology that allowed us not only to visually understand the present and future, but also to perform detailed clash detection and issue management.
