Coastal areas play a crucial role in the conservation of biodiversity, protection against climate change, and support of economic activities. As a partner of Lomé Container Terminal (LCT) and Terminal Investment Limited (TIL), we conducted an in-depth study on the evolution of the Togolese coastline over more than 50 years of coastal development.

Positive impact on people and the environment

This research has provided valuable insights that are essential in designing a future-proof Togolese coastline. The goal is to create a coastline that is not only ready for business activities but also offers state-of-the-art environmental and social protection. By doing so, we demonstrate our commitment to creating a positive impact on the community and the environment. We achieve this through Water Stewardship, green energy development, and involvement in the blue economy.

With more than 30 years of presence on the African continent, we combined our knowledge of local markets with an international network of experts to support LCT in its activities. By investing in sustainable coastal development, we help preserve ecosystems, reduce vulnerability to natural disasters, and create resilient communities.
